Taciana Peão Lopes is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, specializing in legal and institutional issues, LNG, local content, and energy transition development. She holds an LLM in Energy Law and has received the Power Play Pioneer Award for 2022 for her outstanding contributions to the LNG industry.

As the Chairman of the Board of MozUp Enterprise Development Center, she leads a joint venture that aims to create transformational local content in Mozambique and to empower women and men to become leaders of the energy transition. She leverages her expertise in drafting and negotiating LNG and other related energy legal instruments, her entrepreneurial vision, and her passion for gender equality to support Mozambican workers and SMEs in accessing the opportunities and challenges in the energy transition value chain. She is also the co-founder of MWE, an association that promotes women in the energy sector and targets the Sustainable Development Goals 5 and 7. Through her work, she strives to change the narrative of Mozambique and to make it a future maker in the global energy landscape.
